8th District Republican Congressional Race The 8th District Republican Congressional race has boiled down to a runoff between Lynn Westmoreland and Dylan Glenn. The Southern Party of Georgia has recommended Lynn Westmoreland and the following presents some of the reasons.One of our strongest issues is to return integrity to government at all levels, federal, State and local. A brief look at some of the campaign finance reporting data shows a major difference in these two candidates. Using the ole follow the money mantra, the money trail for Dylan Glenn raises some real questions, in our opinion, of who will he be representing if elected.
Do you want to elect a Georgia Congressman whose major campaign contributors are out of State? This raises some serious questions in our opinion: Why are these folks so
interested in Georgia's 8th District? But there is more disturbing news. A look at Dylan Glenn's 2000 Campaign for Georgia's 2nd Congressional District shows a similar pattern:
We do not support this effort by fat cats out side of Georgia to "influence" the selection of a Georgia Congressman.
