Southern Heritage Groups to Protest Against the NAACP & Scalawag Mayor in Augusta, Georgia

October 7th, 8th & 9th

Brigadier General E. Porter Alexander Camp #158, Augusta, Georgia, requests the support of all Southern patriots and Southern heritage groups to participate in the protest of the removal of the 2nd National Confederate flag from a display of historic flags along Augusta’s Riverwalk. This flag has flown on Riverwalk for over 20 years. Augusta’s scalawag mayor, Bob Young, carried out this cowardly act of political correctness in order to appease the perpetually offended NAACP racist agitators.

The annual South Carolina NAACP Convention will be held at the Radisson Riverfront Hotel in Augusta from Thursday, October 7th, thru Saturday, October 9th. The protest location is 10th and Reynolds Streets. We’re asking anyone that is available to please come to Augusta and assist us on Thursday and/or Friday, if only for a couple hours, to join those that will be flagging throughout the day those two days, starting between 9:00 & 10:00 a.m. We need to have a presence of “Flaggers” representing us on Thursday and Friday before the big event on Saturday, October 9th.

On Saturday, we plan to start at 9:00 a.m. and flag until 2:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon. Saturday is the day that we need to have the largest attendance.

Note: This protest is a joint effort between the South Carolina League of the South, the Georgia League of the South, and the Sons of Confederate Veterans. The South Carolina League of the South was at the vanguard in planning and organizing this protest against the NAACP for their economic boycott of South Carolina long before the removal of the flag on Riverwalk became the primary issue in this upcoming event.
