November 2, 2004 Georgia Election Voter Guide Senate Districts 1-28

The following is the first part of the November 2 election voter guides. This is for State Senate Districts 1 - 28 or 1/2 of the State Senate. Of interest also are the following Districts where there is ONLY ONE candidate, ie. the people of Georgia have NO CHOICE in November:

District 2: Regina Thomas, Incumbent, Democrat
District 5: Curt Thompson, Democrat
District 10: Emanuel Jones, Democrat
District 14: George Hooks, Incumbent, Democrat
District 15: Ed Harbison, Incumbent, Democrat
District 16: Ronnie Chance, Republican
District 17: John Douglas, Republican
District 21: Chip Rogers, Republican
District 27: Bill Stephens, Incumbent, Republican
District 28: Mitch Seabaugh, Incumbent, Republican
District 30: Bill Hamrick, Incumbent, Republican

State Senate
 
District 1: Rex Templeton Jr., Democrat. Opponent Eric Johnson was part of the Chamber tax for flag deal
 
District 3: Jeff Chapman, Republican
 
 
District 4: Chris Oliver, Democrat Opponent Jack Hill was part of the Chamber tax for flag vote deal, was a Barnes supporter in 2001.
 
District 6: Doug Stoner, Democrat Opponent Ginger Collins was part of the Chamber tax for flag deal and personally lied to us. Needs to be retired from public service.
 
District 8: Rusty Griffin, Republican
 
Opponent Tim Golden was part of the Chamber tax for flag vote deal, was a Barnes supporter in 2001.
District 9: Enock Vixamar, Democrat Opponent Don Balfour is a strong backer of the Chamber and was part of the Chamber brokered tax for flag vote deal. Needs to be retired from public service.
 
District 11: John Bullock, Republican One of the best Senators in the State Senate
 
District 12: Joe R. Thomas, Republican
 
 
District 18: Cecil Staton, Republican
 
 
District 19: Tommy Williams, Republican
 
 
District: 20: Ross Tolleson, Republican
 
 
District 22: Don Cheeks, Republican Opponent is former Senator Charles Walker, one of the most indicted candidates on the ballot.
 
District 23: J. B. Powell, Democrat Opponent Randy Hall was part of the Chamber tax for flag deal. Needs to be retired from public service.
 
District 24: Chuck Pardue, Democrat
 
 
District 25: Johnny Grant, Republican
 
 
District 26: Dale Washburn, Republican
