Keeping you informed - FAIR
Up or Down VOTE
Legislative Questionnaire
As part of our effort to promote good government and to keep you
informed, we have sent our first Legislative Questionnaire on two
issues. These two issues are;
Ballot Access Reform Act of 2005 and The Georgia Flag FAIR
Vote Act. Preparation for the 2006 Legislative Session has started,
with your continued support we hope to be in the Capitol almost
every day they are in Session working for good government.
The Legislative Questionnaire for HB-15 The
Georgia Flag FAIR Vote Act is in the box below.
A recent Mason Dixon Poll showed what virtually
everybody in Georgia already knew - 79% of Georgians want a FAIR
Vote. This concept, Letting The People does not really need a lot of
explanation. There is just something American about letting the
People Vote. In fact we hear a constant roar out of the Republicans
in Washington DC about how important a "FAIR Up or Down Vote" is.
The same party controls the State House, State Senate and Governor's
Office here in Georgia - shouldn't we hear the same pitch here?
Well we do not.
Here in Georgia what we hear is the Atlanta
Chamber and other special interests saying "No Vote!" That's right
79% of the People of Georgia want a FAIR Vote and the special
interests say "No!"
We believe that you - the citizens have a right
to know who your elected officials are listening to - and
representing - you or the special interests. We will be publishing
the results of the Legislative Questionnaire, or the lack of
response.
Next year is an election
year and we do get to vote!
