Dear League Compatriots:
The League of the South encourages its members to be dedicated
leaders in the Southern cause and to be willing to make
supreme sacrifices to that cause. One of our members, Mr. Ray
McBerry, the Georgia LS State Chairman, is setting an example
for all of us by making the sacrifice to run for Governor of
the sovereign State of Georgia in the Republican primary (18
July). In doing so, Ray is challenging incumbent GOP Governor,
Sonny Perdue.
Ray's platform is States rights oriented and is focused on
returning power to the people of Georgia. At present, Georgia
(like her sister Southern States) is ruled by a plutocracy
centered in the capital of Atlanta and in Washington, DC.
Unlike the other candidates of both major parties, Ray would
actually govern the State of Georgia according to the law and
Christian ethics and morals.
But Ray cannot do this by himself. On the one hand, as you
might imagine, Sonny Perdue's campaign is well financed by the
forces of greed and corruption. On the other, Ray will have to
rely on donations from hard-working individuals to get his
message out. Let us not leave him alone and unsupplied at the
front to fight this crucial battle. I urge you today to get
out your checkbook and make a much-needed donation to supply
his campaign. The primary election is less than three months
away, and Ray needs your help immediately.
You can contribute in three ways. First, send a check or money
order, made payable to Georgia First, to Georgia First, P.O.
Box 921328, Norcross, GA 30010. Second, call (706) 374-2643
and make a contribution via credit card. Third, go to the

a contribution on line by credit card.
The law permits Ray's campaign to take donations from
out-of-State contributors. All contributors should provide the
name of their employer and their occupation.
Again, Ray is making a huge sacrifice on our behalf. As
President of The League of the South, I implore you to help
him win this fight for the good people of Georgia and for our
Southern cause.
