India claims big
election victory and laughs at Americans
by
Mike CraneDuring the recent campaign we received
a lot of well ... lets just call it unfavorable feedback for our
articles on the current administration's
outsourcing
and
immigration policies.
Believe me that is being very polite in describing most of the
feedback.
But we respect every one's right to their opinion. But we
will let you be the final judge and submit the following for your
consideration.
In the aftermath of the election we thought some of our remaining
readers might like to see what the election consensus was in the
main outsourcing country, India:
"Indian techies and software honchos were seen laughing all
the way to the vote banks they so assiduously helped to create
for George W Bush Jr’s win. Desperate to preserve and enhance
the P/Es of their off-shore outfits, they knew just what would
happen if democracy triumphed in the US in the form of the
Democrats: ... "
That is a quote from the India Times. They are laughing! Look
at the sarcasm - laughing all the way to the vote banks.
But now for something that surprised all of us, Bush and possibly other Republican
candidates "outsourced" their campaign jobs!
"He retained the services of Noida-based HCL eServe (the BPO
arm of India-based HCL Technologies.) Its operators thereafter
spent quality time, calling up American citizens to support GWB
Jr for President and to also contribute to the Republicans. "
Now this does not fit the projected image of standing up for
the jobs of middle class America! I also am not pleased at involving
foreign nationals in our political campaign! Outsourcing campaign
jobs speaks volumes and in my book - none of it is good.
But what about the personal information? How would companies in India get the contact information
such as name, address, phone numbers and credit cards?
"As for its getting the names of voters from such a distance,
that was thanks to a database provided by the Republican
National Committee (RNC), the party's premier political
organisation."
There you have it, the Republican National Committee sent their
database to India! So keep that in mind the next time that they call
you. Remember that Red China is joint venturing with many of the
India based outsourcing companies. Will future contributions and
phone calls contribute to our
trade deficit with Red China?
"That is how more than 10 million registered Republican voters
were contacted, and well in excess of $10 million raised: all
thanks to Noida and Gurgaon!"
Were you one of these 10,000,000? Did you make a credit card
contribution?
"Incidentally, no one in the US had any idea of where the
calls were from as they had foreign accents: that was ensured by
the advanced voice recognition and automation technology used."
I don't know about you, but I am not very impressed by a
deliberate effort to fool American voters.
But the most import nugget of information from the India times
follows:
"So it is also clear that the new Bush Administration will be
pro-active on the issue of visas. As Vivek Paul, Wipro VC, said
after the Presidential poll, “The elections are over and so is
the rhetoric; it will be easier for American corporations to
step out with their outsourcing plans.”
Are they talking about your job? Of course not - it is always
someone else isn't it.
Now that your vote is in the Indian vote bank, will they be
coming back to put your job in the Indian job bank? Will they also
be laughing as American job by job is put in their job bank? When it
is your turn - when it is your job - will you be laughing?
Well do not take our word for it, an extract from the India
Times follows and a link to the entire source.
If you consider this a serious issue you may want to consider

or signing up to be notified (click

information is posted on outsourcing. There is more coming, you are
going to be shocked when you see the growth projections of some of
the major India companies and realize that those numbers are based
upon unemployed Americans!
Please keep one thought in mind. The Democrats are no better
and probably worse, they only pay lip service to protecting American
jobs. They are as entangled with special interests as the
Republicans are.

distributed within the next few days.
Georgians, one of the companies mentioned above (HCL) that
received the Republican National Committee database of information
and faked people out about where call were coming from is used by
the State of Georgia. That is your State tax dollars being used to
send Georgian's jobs to the India job bank. click

Bush's second term & India's gains
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2004 04:28:05 PM]
There is consensus that GWB Jr’s win will push
India’s gains well beyond technology, and spill
over into trade.
Indian techies and software honchos were seen
laughing all the way to the vote banks they so
assiduously helped to create for George W Bush
Jr’s win. Desperate to preserve and enhance the
P/Es of their off-shore outfits, they knew just
what would happen if democracy triumphed in the US
in the form of the Democrats: with Kerry’s
opposition to software and BPO outsourcing his win
would have drenched their balance sheets all a
gory ‘Heinz-red’...
Meanwhile, software exports to the USA have been
growing at an annual 30%, with the USA alone
taking 68% of the total. So, not only will India
gain as GWB Jr will continue to be a free-trader,
the gains will spill-over into other sectors and
services. They should, even if he cannot have a
third Presidential Term, given the way in which he
majorly relied on India’s service sector from the
onset of his election campaign.
He retained the services of Noida-based HCL eServe
(the BPO arm of India-based HCL Technologies.) Its
operators thereafter spent quality time, calling
up American citizens to support GWB Jr for
President and to also contribute to the
Republicans.
Reports, in fact, say that May 16, 2002 onwards
HCL eServe deployed over 100 agents to solicit
funds for Republicans for 14 months. The
India-based BPO pulled out all stops and got
contributions ranging from $5 to $3,000 from
hordes of registered Republican voters. As for its
getting the names of voters from such a distance,
that was thanks to a database provided by the
Republican National Committee (RNC), the party's
premier political organisation.
That is how more than 10 million registered
Republican voters were contacted, and well in
excess of $10 million raised: all thanks to Noida
and Gurgaon! And it happened even though the
contract for running the campaigns was originally
awarded by RNC to Washington, DC-based Capital
Communications Group — a networking outfit. The
latter then sent it on, offshore, to India! HCL
Technologies was then selected, for cost and
efficiency gains.
Incidentally, no one in the US had any idea of
where the calls were from as they had foreign
accents: that was ensured by the advanced voice
recognition and automation technology used.
No wonder that US military and political
strategists are all agreed that GWB Jr’s
re-election campaign was executed with greater
precision than the war in Iraq! Read this
September take by Col Dale Henderson, a military
advisor in the Reagan Administration:
“Judging from the initial misrepresentation of
intelligence data and the ongoing crisis in Najaf,
I assumed the president didn't know his ass from
his elbow, but on the campaign trail he's proven
himself a master of long-term planning and
unflinching determination. How else can you
explain his strength in the polls given this
economy?”
So it is also clear that the new Bush
Administration will be pro-active on the issue of
visas. As Vivek Paul, Wipro VC, said after the
Presidential poll, “The elections are over and so
is the rhetoric; it will be easier for American
corporations to step out with their outsourcing
plans.” Source:
