The record is clear! Isakson and Chambliss vote against amendment to curtail enormous "guest worker" program.

After voting for cloture and allowing the amnesty bill to bypass the regular committee path, there was a vote on Amendment 1153. This amendment would have eliminated the up to 900,000 "guest worker" per year visas to be granted in addition to the 12-20 million Z-visas, and up to 20-40 million other visas to be granted to current illegal aliens.

Senator Isakson has told the public that he was involved in the wheeling and dealing to create this amnesty bill only to guarantee that the border protection features were included.

Then why did he vote against an amendment to curtail the extra "guest workers" in addition to the 12-20 million Z-visas?

Ladies and gentlemen - you know the answer! Despite what Senator Isakson will tell you - he is voting for cheap labor!

Senator Chambliss will tell you, as he did the Republican State convention that if you don't support millions upon millions of foreign workers you will have to import your vegetables! What a crock!

The best thing that could happen to Georgia will be if Senator "Cheap Labor" Chambliss is retired from public service next year so he can grow a garden.

He will be very surprised to learn that vegetables don't speak spanish! In fact prior to the record breaking high levels of illegal immigration of the last couple decades our country was one of the world's leading exporters of food. So apparently the vegetables were picked!

But Senator "Cheap Labor" Chambliss has a higher calling and such facts are of little consequence. For five pages detailing his higher calling, click here.

But for those who believe that a Republican can do no wrong, the information about this roll call vote follows. We also highlighted the vote of Senator Ted Kennedy.

Aren't you glad you elected two Republican Senators to vote the same as Senator Ted Kennedy?

They also voted the same way as the other Senator from Massachusetts, John Kerry.

For those who are surprised at the Republican support for the Amnesty Bill, you were told it was coming by the Republican National Committee. Over a year ago the Republican National Committee (RNC) endorsed the Bush Administration Amnesty Plan (See: Republican National Committee (RNC) endorses Bush Amnesty Plan).

Of course on this issue the Democrats are worse. But voting for the lessor of two evils is on the verge of bring the citizens of our country between 40-60 million immigrants to supply corporate greed for "cheap labor."

Perhaps it is time to open up our political process to some real competition. the two major parties (Republican and Democratic) seem to have more interest in campaign contributions than representing the best interests of the citizens!

The American public polls 70-80% against amnesty.

The US Senate votes 70% in favor of amnesty.

Wonder if this is what Thomas Jefferson had in mind when he wrote the Declaration of Independence? Why has the federal government disconnected with the citizens? We recommend watching some of the videos by Donnie Kennedy, they are located on YouTube at: http://YouTube.com/KennedyGOPdotcom He is a Louisiana Kennedy not a Massachusetts Kennedy - quite a difference!

Of course Senator Chambliss and Isakson would prefer you watch videos about the Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy! Birds of a feather flock together!
