Information about The Display of The Ten Commandments

Ten Commandments Southern Rally!

On Saturday 7 August 2004, there will be a Ten Commandments Rally on the McDonough Square in Henry County, Georgia from 10am until 11am at the base of the Confederate Monument. The purpose of the rally is to express public support for the commissioners who voted unanimously to post the Ten Commandments display three weeks ago and also to create the momentum necessary to take this effort into the other counties all across Georgia.

At other Ten Commandments rallies that we have all attended over the past year, Southern Heritage groups were not welcome... this will NOT be the case in McDonough! This is our rally and Southern Heritage organisations who support the Ten Commandments ARE WELCOME! Come out and show the other "Christian" organisations that we can actually get things done ourselves!

Please reply to me via personal email and let me know how many folks you will plan to bring with you, so that we can have some idea of what to expect... and feel free to forward this to any email lists that you see fit.

If you are interested in getting a Ten Commandments effort going in your city or county, please feel free to visit the website that we have put up for the purpose of helping to launch such endeavors. The address is http://www.10ComFriends.org ...and let us know of your attempt.

Directions to the McDonough Square: Take I-75 to Georgia exit 218 (approximately 30 minutes south of Atlanta); turn east onto Ga Hwy 20/81 toward McDonough; you will arrive at the Square after approximately three miles.
